On your other points about a more down to earth gritty take of superman might be needed for the film because what was wrong with superman returns was that it wasn’t modern or new it felt almost like a copy of the Christopher Reeves one, it wasn’t bad but we need something new like with the batman series did. obvoisly not a dark knight copy but Zack Snyder should make it new.
